Gable Roof Shed Plans

The first step of the project is to build the rafters for the 10 20 gable shed roof.

In total the plans are 102 pages long. 10 1 2 plywood 4 x8 sheets cut to size the shed floor is built with pressure treated 2 6 s and pressure treated 4 4 s. Lay the rafters on a level surface and then leave no gaps between them. Nail 3 1 2 nails through the 2 6 band and into the floor joist.

Cut thirteen 2 6 s to 11 9 long for the floor joist. Rafters 10 20 gable shed. Use a miter saw to make the angle cuts to the rafters as shown in the diagram. Floor joist 16 o c.

This step by step diy project is about 10 10 shed roof plans. Cut two 2 6 s to 16 long for the band. The shed has a 22 5 degree slope but you can very easily adjust it to suit your needs. Take a look over the rest of my woodworking plans if you want to get more building inspiration.
