If the light board is receiving sufficient voltage but the refrigerator light will not work replace the light board. First ensure that the light board is receiving the proper amount of voltage. If the door switch fails the dispenser will not turn on. Enter model number to search for the required part specific to your product.

The switch can be checked for continuity with an ohm meter. The first thing to examine if the control panel and display on the profile refrigerator is not working is whether anything on the refrigerator is operating. Reset or replace the circuit breaker or fuse to reset power to the unit. If the refrigerator has no power find the power cord and plug it into a live outlet. Some searching seemed to indicate this could be the main control board. My ge profile psi23scrbsv fridge completely quit working after multiple power outages over a few day period. Interior light was working but only other sign of life was hrs flashing on the display panel. When the freezer door is opened the freezer door switch does two things it turns on the light in the freezer and turns off the ice and water dispenser.
